PDF Reader in Eximee Customer Applications

In the latest Eximee release, we have introduced a new feature – a PDF File Reader in Customer Applications, which not only enhances the user experience, but also improves security.

Applications in Eximee are accessible to customers through various channels, including desktop, mobile browser and mobile app versions. In all of these channels, customers have the ability to digitally sign contracts, which requires that the content be reviewed in advance. Agreements are delivered in PDF format, which can be read and downloaded to the device.

Previously, there were issues in the mobile application where clicking on a link required leaving the application, and the users were notified that they were leaving the “Bank’s secure application”. The PDF reader now allows users to view documents without leaving the app.

The new functionality in Eximee provides two document management options tailored to different usage scenarios:

• Optional Documents – Customers can view PDF documents directly within the app. They can also save the documents to their device for later viewing in the same PDF format.
• Important Documents – For important documents that need to be reviewed by the customer, such as loan agreements, the customer can review the content, accept it, and then sign the document using an SMS code, for example.

By integrating with the PDF.js library, this solution ensures high performance and security, as well as the ability to customize the interface to match the bank’s specific branding. This is a significant convenience not only for users, but also for banks, which can now offer a more consistent and secure document management experience.
