The bank aimed to create a solution that would simplify the work of advisors, minimize the risk of error, and significantly reduce the time required to open a business account. Previously, advisors had to manually compile and prepare documents, sometimes more than a dozen. This process was both time-consuming and error-prone.

Opening a business account is a pivotal moment in the customer's relationship with the bank. This experience shapes the perception of the bank: whether it is customer-friendly and convenient, or the opposite. That is why we are committed to making the account opening process as simple and fast as possible. The Business Account Generator helps us achieve this goal.

Solution

With the help of the Eximee platform, the bank developed a tool that largely automates and simplifies the critical stage of opening a business account. Using low-code technology and advanced algorithms, this solution enables advisors to quickly and accurately generate the required documents and then open a business account based on the documentation signed by the client.

The Business Account Generator is a tool designed for advisors to collect all the necessary data and generate a set of documents required to open a business account.

The form is dynamic and, for ease of use, is divided into screens based on the type of data being collected (e.g., business owner information, company information, power of attorney information, debit card application, etc.). It is intuitive to use, and info tips and validators provide additional assistance during the application process.

Process

The process of opening a business account begins when an employee initiates a case in the system by accessing the Business Account application. In the first step, the employee selects the legal form of the client's business. Depending on the choice, the system determines the processing path and automatically provides the appropriate form to be filled out. Each form contains a set of questions and fields tailored to the specific legal structure.

The employee verifies with the customer the accuracy and timeliness of the data retrieved from the bank's records and enters the remaining information. This significantly speeds up the form completion process and reduces the risk of errors.

Once the form is completed, the data is sent to the document generator. Based on the input data, the algorithm determines the required set of documents and then creates and automatically fills them. The generated documents can be downloaded by the employee either individually or as a single PDF file on the last page of the application. The next step is to print the documents and present them to the customer for signature. Once signed, the employee scans the documents and uploads them to Eximee.

The final step is to forward the application and documents to the Back Office, which completes the Business Account setup process.

Benefits

The Business Account Generator has eliminated the need for front-office staff to determine which documents are required to open an account for a specific company. Advisors only need to enter basic information, and the system automatically compiles the document set based on the information in the form. The data is automatically propagated to all required documents, speeding up the process and reducing the risk of errors that can occur when creating multiple documents manually.
